Free Stock Photos for Designers

Nothing adds interest to a landing page, blog post or poster quite like a bold, impactful image – but if you’re anything like me, you don’t have an amazing camera and a portfolio of beautiful photos to back you up. The other issue is that most stock photos tend to be on the bland side, and while there are gems out there it can be a bit like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Fortunately enough, there are some fantastic resources available for graphic designers who are on the lookout for royalty-free, beautiful stock photos. I wanted to bring together a collection of some of my favourite recent stock photos for designers, to help you find creative, interesting and well shot images to use for your blog posts, landing pages and print designs.

As always, if you know of any other examples out there – I’d love to hear about them in the comments at the end of this post. I hope you find this collection of free stock photos useful – and please do be sure to check the license agreements in place before using them (particularly for commercial projects, as in some cases attribution may be required).
